Samir Jenkins received his PhD in chemistry from the University of Arkansas. His research focuses on the development of novel nanomaterials and their application in diverse biological settings, as diagnostic agents, therapeutic agents, and to augment existing therapies. His research further involves cancer biology, particularly the immune and microenvironment of tumors and the effect of microbial imbalance on tumor growth and therapeutic efficacy.
